The Xquizit Dj X is considered an icon in the southeastern region of the US. He has been labeled as the innovator of Funky Breaks with releases on Xquizit Records, The Eastern Breakz Movement and Promo X. Having several classic Florida breakbeat anthems with releases on wax and CD since 1995. Having six records to hit the charts in Billboard Magazine (Dj X - Use Your Luv, Plummet - Damaged, Cherish the day and Dj X feat. Jon Secada - What you won’t do for love), he has proven to be a hit maker in the short time he has been focusing his production towards the radio market.  He has remixed artists such as Shakira, Mario, BT, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas & Tiesto to name a few.

Xquizit DJ X (often stylized as Dj X or The Xquizit DJ X) is the stage name of Eric B. Muniz, a veteran American DJ, producer, and remixer in the electronic dance music (EDM) scene. Originally from Queens, New York, he has been based in Florida since the mid-1990s and is recognized as a pioneer of "funky breakz" (a subgenre of breakbeat). With a career spanning nearly 30+ years, he's released music on vinyl and digital platforms since 1995, earning a reputation in the underground and mainstream EDM world.

Key Highlights:

  • Career Milestones: Started DJing and producing in 1995. He's released classic Florida breakbeat tracks and has over five Billboard-charting records, including "Use Your Luv" (DJ X), "Damaged" (Plummet), "Cherish the Day," "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover," and "What You Won't Do for Love" (DJ X feat. Jon Secada). His remixes have charted internationally and include work for artists like BT, David Guetta, Black Eyed Peas, Shakira, Lady Gaga, and Tiësto.
  • Labels and Releases: Founder of Xquizit Records, The Eastern Breakz Movement and Promo X and also involved with now defunked label BIG3 Records. Tracks like "Strange Things" and remixes such as "Memories" (Rockik) and "Nova (I Am a Computer)" (DJ Lace) are fan favorites. His music is available on his own site but difficult to find on platforms like Beatport & Spotify due to his efforts to keep his content direct to fans.
